Dr. Michael Pavlov


Dr. Pavlov's Bio

Graduated from the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria in 1981 and practiced veterinary medicine there until 1987, when he achieved his lifelong dream and came to the United States of America and obtained his citizenship. In 1990, he was licensed with the Texas Board of Veterinary Examiners. His goal is to treat their clients and pets with honesty, dignity, and with a spirit of servanthood. Love God, love your neighbor.

Diana Garza

Practice Manager

Diana's Bio

Diana has been with the clinic for six years. Growing up, she always helped her dad with his farm animals. She lived in Uvalde, Texas and moved to San Antonio to go to college. In 2016, she graduated from San Antonio Texas A&M. She has a four-year-old dog named Apollo. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog.

Francis Sanchez

Francis' Bio

Francis has been with the clinic for 18 years. She assists the doctors during surgical procedures. She has a passion for her job working with animals. She has a passion for decorating the clinic. On her time off, she loves spending time with her five sons and her husband.

Vivian Hernandez



Vivian has been working with the clinic for three years. She was born in San Antonio, Texas. She is going to start college in the fall. She is a very crafty person. She has three dogs that she loves and adores. On her time off, she enjoys BBQ with her husband.

Sabrina Gonzalez

Sabrina's Bio

Sabrina has been here for over two years and has a passion for her job and all the animals that she works withbig and small, she loves them all! She has been living in San Antonio for six years and started off her career here at Pavlov’s, which has helped her grow in this field to a point that she didn’t even imagine. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and went to Palo Alto College for one and a half years in the Vet Tech Program. She believes we have an awesome team here, and that makes the job that much better, not only for her but for our fellow patients/clients as well.

Mary Herrera

Mary's Bio
Mary Herrera is originally from Napa, California but has lived in Alaska, Germany, and now Texas. She has been a vet assistant for over 6 years and has a deep love for all animals. Mary received her bachelor’s degree in environmental science and is finishing her master’s degree in environmental geography while also applying to veterinary school. Mary is married to a US Airman and has 7 fur babies which include 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 guinea pigs. Mary has a special interest in exotics and plans on specializing in them during veterinary school.

Alyssa Lopez

Alyssa's Bio
Alyssa was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She has always had a passion for all animals big and small. She is currently going to school at Palo Alto College to pursue her dream in become an actual Veterinarian (DVM). She started off her career at Pavlov’s which has helped her grow and gained a lot of knowledge about the progress and opportunity it takes in this career.

Natxeli Miller

Natxeli's Bio
Natxeli was born in Colorado but has lived in San Antonio most of her life. She cares for all animals but has a particular fascination with the scaly ones. She also has a soft spot in her heart for elderly animals. She has 3 dogs, a kitten, and a giant tortoise named Nuniz. She enjoys live music, going on long road trips, and spending time with her fur/scaly babies.

Dina Rymers


DINA's Bio
Dina was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. She’s has had pets all her life from dogs, ferrets to turtles. She loves crafting, hiking and going on walks with her two pups Vadier and Rex.

Makayla Carreon


Makayla's Bio
Makayla just recently graduated from James Madison high school. She has always been a big animal lover growing up, she owns many pets ranging from reptiles, fish, livestock, and just your average dogs as well. She hopes to gain more knowledge in the vet field. When she is not working, she likes to spend time with family and friends, also work on project cars/trucks.

Sheryl Kazter


Sheryl's Bio

Sheryl has been grooming for 30 years in South Texas. She has a wonderful rapport with our clients and strives for 100% satisfaction for her customers! She moved to Bandera 26 years ago. In her off-time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and eight grandchildren. Sheryl is also a reputable dog breeder.

Elena Fitch

Elena's Bio
Elena is currently attending UTSA, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Biology. Much like her coworkers, she has a deep love for animals of all kinds. She has been saving stray cats since a very young age, and now has five beautiful cats and one dog who is the absolute love of her life.
