Dr. Pavlov's Bio
Graduated from the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria in 1981 and practiced veterinary medicine there until 1987, when he achieved his lifelong dream and came to the United States of America and obtained his citizenship. In 1990, he was licensed with the Texas Board of Veterinary Examiners. His goal is to treat their clients and pets with honesty, dignity, and with a spirit of servanthood. Love God, love your neighbor.
Dr. Carina Bunde
Dr. Bunde's Bio
Dr. Bunde was born and raised in Austin, TX where her passion for animals developed early in life. Her childhood pets included gerbils, fish, budgies, and a cat. She received her Bachelors in Biology at UTSA, and adopted her dog, Nala, during her last year of school. Soon after graduating she flew to St. Kitts to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she developed the love for snorkelling, hiking, and overall culture of the Caribbean islands. Dr. Bunde is interested in meeting your cats, dogs, birds, and small mammals. Her goal is to create great relationships and provide the best care to your loved ones.
Dr. Karen Cousins
Dr. Cousins's Bio
Diana has been with the clinic for six years. Growing up, she always helped her dad with his farm animals. She lived in Uvalde, Texas and moved to San Antonio to go to college. In 2016, she graduated from San Antonio Texas A&M. She has a four-year-old dog named Apollo. On the weekends, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog.
Francis has been with the clinic for 18 years. She assists the doctors during surgical procedures. She has a passion for her job working with animals. She has a passion for decorating the clinic. On her time off, she loves spending time with her five sons and her husband.
Sabrina has been here for over two years and has a passion for her job and all the animals that she works with—big and small, she loves them all! She has been living in San Antonio for six years and started off her career here at Pavlov’s, which has helped her grow in this field to a point that she didn’t even imagine. She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and went to Palo Alto College for one and a half years in the Vet Tech Program. She believes we have an awesome team here, and that makes the job that much better, not only for her but for our fellow patients/clients as well.
